Hourly and Personal Care
With Cerna In Home Care Services you are treated like family. Whether you need some help around the house for a few hours a day or care 24 hours per day every day, we have the right in home care services and programs for you or your loved one including:
All Cerna Care Aides have at least one year experience, Criminal Background checked, DMV checked, Passed and acquired four units in Cognitive Impairment course, have a minimum of eight hours in house training and have a current CPR/First Aid Card.
Live In Caregiver for 24/7 Assistance
Live In Home Care is an option for families that need a care aid on site at all times, 24/7. The Caregiver actually lives in the home as long as separate quarters exist for the them to sleep and have privacy. The cost is much lower than having 24 hours of hourly/shift coverage as the caregiver has eight hours of time to be relieved of duty, but meals (or a meal stipend) are provided by the client. Live in care is perfect for someone that needs someone available all the time, but does not have trouble sleeping and can have a caregiver close by incase of an emergency, but can sleep through the night.
Our live in caregivers provide, companionship, bathing, grooming, light housekeeping, medication reminders, exercise, general assistance, errands, cooking and much, much more. Cerna maintains Workman’s Compensation Insurance, Liability Insurance and a Surety Bond to ensure there would never be Homeowner liability. We also have continuing levels of care that incorporate more therapeutic/rehabilitative care. Our level II service provides focused cognitive activity, physical activity, lifestyle planning and constant monitoring to ensure progress. So whatever your care needs might be, Cerna will provide the flexibility to grow with your ever changing needs and you can log in to our website and view the Care Plan and Daily Care Notes that are entered in by the caregiver on a regular basis.

Assistance Now is a safety watch that is simple to use, just wear it like a regular watch on your wrist. If you fall or have an emergency that requires assistance, simply press the RED button on the watch and it will alert the people on your contact list. In fact, in the case of a severe fall when you are not able to press the button, the watch has a built-in fall detection that AUTOMATICALLY reaches out to your contact list within seconds.

Monitoring Purchase Options:
Family can safely and easily monitor their loved one by receiving the calls and alerts if there is an emergency. Unlimited use of app for family and first responders. You will enter your phone number and information into the emergency responder screen when setting up your new watch. Family members will download the Assistance Now app from the app store (Apple or Android) and will have complete visibility to your loved ones dashboard which includes heart rate, fall information, whereabouts and ability to talk to them.
Our professional emergency response team monitors your loved one 24/7 with complete visibility to their vitals and possible emergencies (such as a fall) and will communicate directly over the watch with your loved one if anything may be wrong.
Once an emergency call is received our will triage accordingly. Family members will download the Assistance Now app from the app store (Apple or Android) and will have complete visibility to your loved ones dashboard which includes heart rate, fall information, whereabouts and ability to talk to them.
PERSONAL CARE OPTIONS:
This is not required for purchase. You can add any of the following Care Provider options to save money and gain peace of mind.
With Assistance Now’s personal care program, you or your loved one can have a care professional come out to your home and provide personal assistance such as meal preparation, Doctor visits, errands, projects, bathing and general care assistance. This program is for someone that needs some help just once per week or up to 7 days per week. The personal caregiver is there to assist Mom or Dad with anything they need relative to activities of daily living.
These visits will be up to two hours and you pick the amount of days you want and a care professional will be in touch with you. This will be scheduled 48 hours after the completion and setup of your Assistance Now Watch.
